Dr Javed new pharmacy council VP

Islamabad: The Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP) members have elected Dr AQ Javed Iqbal as its vice president. Director General of the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Dr Asad Hafeez is already working as the president of the council regulating pharmacy practice and education in the country. Dr AQ Javed thanked members for his election and said he would strive to promote the cause of pharmacy in the country. Established under Pharmacy Act 1967, the PCP is mandated to protect, promote and maintain the health, safety and well-being of patients and the people, who use pharmaceutical services in the country.
