Karachi to face Multan in Disabled Cricket semi-final today

KARACHI: Multan and Karachi qualified for the semi-finals after winning three matches each in the National Disabled Cricket championship here at RLCA on Wednesday.
Karachi defeated Faisalabad by eight wickets. Batting first, Faisalabad posted 175-9 with Rehan Ghani Mirza scoring 59 and Adnan Ali 45. Haroon bagged three wickets.Arif Richard of Karachi smashed unbeaten 92 off 55 balls to help his team to an easy win.
In the other match, Quetta-Bolan were all out for 129 with Umar Farooq scoring 44 runs. Jahanzaib Tiwana of Multan produced outstanding figures of 5-16. Defending champions Multan’s Matloob Qureshi took them to the target with his 76-run knock. Karachi and Multan will meet in the semi-final on Thursday (today) at RLCA.
