PESHAWAR: The Victoria Memorial Hall of the Peshawar Museum will host a lecture by famed historian and polymath, Professor Dr. Sayed Amjad Hussain, today (Monday) at 3:00pm.
The United States-based luminary, who is affectionately called “Aghaji” by everybody in his hometown Peshawar, has enchanted the local audiences on previous occasions.
This time will talk on “The Silk Route - ancient pathway to the modern world”. His lecture will be based on a personal expedition undertaken from the Northern China to the Arabian Sea.
Creative Co, an organisation working for revival of culture and promotion of creative endeavours, has arranged the lecture with the support of Directorate of Archaeology, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
