LAHORE : Two men were shot dead by unidentified persons at Mughalpura on Saturday.
The victims were identified as Ali Raza and Nauman. Victim Nauman's family said that he told them at night that he was going in a nearby street for a work. A few minutes later, they received information that he had been shot dead by unidentified persons.
Police said that the initial investigations suggested that the murder was a result of an old enmity.
Prisoner dies: A man imprisoned in Kot Lakhpat Jail for murder died under suspicious circumstances on Saturday.
The man identified as Sarfaraz Ahmad, 52. His condition deteriorated and he was admitted to Jinnah Hospital. On Saturday, he passed away. Police have removed the body to morgue and are investigating the matter.
