Robbers injure junk dealer

LAHORE : Robbers injured a scrap dealer on resistance in the Islampura area and took away Rs 2,500 from him.

The victim was identified as Zeeshan. Meanwhile, dacoits looted Rs 95,000 from a shoe store in the Manawan area, valuables worth Rs 400,000 from the family of one Danish in Shadbagh, Rs 128,000 from one Ahmad in Township, Rs 75,000 from the family of one Haroon in Ghaziabad, Rs 38,000 from one Salman in Liaqatabad and Rs 38,000 from one Abdullah in the Samanabad area.

bodies buried: Edhi Foundation buried two unclaimed bodies in a local graveyard on Thursday. A 30-year-old man was found dead at Ali Park, Tibbi City area, and a 46-year-old man had expired at Mayo Hospital.

bikes stolen: Nine motorcycles and a car were lifted and taken away in various parts of the city on Thursday. The motorcycles were stolen and taken away in the areas of Mughalpura, Shahdara, Islampura, Musti Gate, Defence A, Baghbanpura, Green Town, Township and Racecourse. A car was lifted in the area of Gulberg.
