KARACHI: On the invitation of the Malaysia Cycling Federation (MCF) Pakistani coach Nadir Khan has reached Malaysia for level-1 cycling course to be held in Nilai from Decamber 12-20.

Pakistan Cycling Federation’s (PCF) secretary Syed Azhar Ali Shah said on Wednesday that this is the fourth time that the PCF’s coaches have been invited by the international cycling federation (UCI) on its own expenses. He thanked the presidents of MCF and UCI for giving opportunities of training to Pakistani coaches.

“This is due to cordial relations with the UCI, ACC and all sister federations throughout the world especially Asia. We are also thankful to Dato Amarjit, member ACC and UCI management Board as he played a vital role for improvement of cycling in Pakistan,” Shah said.

“Besides seeking for opportunities of training abroad the PCF is also planning training camp under international coach in Pakistan too to give world-class training to PCF coaches,” Shah said. He also appealed to the federal and provincial governments to establish cycling velodromes in all provincial capitals and federal capital so that Pakistan could become able to compete effectively in international circuit.
