Officials asked to help fight crimes

DIR: Commissioner Malakand Division, Zaheerul Islam, said on Tuesday that fighting crimes and drugs should be the top priority of the district administration.
He was speaking as a chief guest after inaugurating the Jirga Hall at the Deputy Commissioner’s office here.
Deputy Inspector General of Malakand Range Akhtar Hayat Gandapur, Deputy Commissioner Upper Dir Muhammad Usman Mehsud, Tehsil Municipal Officer of Dir Badshahzada and others were also present on the occasion.
Zaheerul Islam said the deputy commissioners, civil and police officers were the servants of the people and they should provide better services to the people.
