KOEN donates ski equipment to PSF
ISLAMABAD: Korea South East Power Company (KOEN) has donated ski equipment worth US$10,300 to Pakistan Ski Federation through Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) on Tuesday.
The equipment would be used for the training of skiers for XXIII Winter Olympics to be held in Korea from February 9-25.Senior Technician Muhammad Karim has already qualified for the Games while Syed Humman is likely to make it to Winter Olympics.
The PSB and KOEN signed an MoU on May 17, 2017 in Islamabad according to which the company will donate ski kits and shoes worth of KRW 10 million (Rs1 million) for the skiers participating in Winter Olympics 2018.
SFP secretary Air Commodore Shahid Nadeem, Min Byeong Soo (KOEN), PSB Deputy Director General (technical) Syed Habib Shah attended the handing over/taken over ceremony at the Pakistan Sports Complex.
