SFP gets ski equipment worth Rs1 million

KARACHI: A Korean company has handed over equipment worth Rs1 million to Ski Federation of Pakistan (SFP) for the preparation of its skiers for the Winter Olympics to be held in South Korea from February 9-25.
Pakistan Sports Board said on Tuesday that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the PSB and Korean company KOEN on May 17, 2017, in Islamabad. “As per the MoU, KOEN was required to provide ski kits and shoes worth Rs1 million to the SFP for preparations of its skiers in Winter Olympics,” the Board said.Olympian Mohammad Karim has already qualified for Winter Olympics. Pakistan is also trying to qualify in cross country and a couple of its athletes have been featuring in qualifiers for the purpose.
