Bara Press Club office-bearers elected

BARA: Hussain Afridi was elected unopposed as president of the Bara Press Club for year 2018 here on Monday.

Others who were elected without a contest included Iqbal Afridi, general sectary, Said Jalal finance sectary and Saeedullah, senior naib president.

Six members of the election committee comprised of Sher Khan Afridi, Aurangzeb Afridi, Khyalmat Shah Afridi, Islam Gul Afridi, Hidayat Afridi and Munir Khan Afridi.

Hussain Afridi and Muhammad Salim Afridi were nominated for presidential seat while Hussain Afridi had raised objections to Muhammad Salim Afridi candidature.

Five members election committee declared Hussain Afridi as president of the Bara Press Club after upholding the objections against Muhammad Salim as per according to the TUJ constitution.

The new elected president Bara Press Club Hussain Afridi thanked the members of the BPC and election committee for the transparent election.
