Raynard to lead SA in U-19 WC
JOHANNESBURG: Raynard van Tonder will lead the 15-man South Africa side in the Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand next year, Cricket South Africa announced on Monday. The side also includes Wandile Makwetu, who also featured in the 2016 edition of the tournament in Bangladesh. Matthew Breetzke, who has already played seven first-class games, is also part of the squad. Makhaya Ntini’s son, Thando Ntini, who is also a fast bowler, has also been included in the side. South Africa are grouped with New Zealand, defending champions Windies and Kenya in Group A. South Africa start their campaign against Kenya on January 14 in Lincoln before moving to Mount Maunganui to face Windies and New Zealand on January 17 and 20 respectively.
