LAHORE: Calling for Punjab Assembly session immediately after the release of Justice Baqar Najafi Report, opposition leader in PA Mian Mehmoodul Rasheed on Monday demanded the chief minister to respond to allegations against him on the assembly floor.

Taking to the media at the PA cafeteria, the opposition leader said CM Shahbaz Sharif should clarify his position over the allegations of 56 companies of the province and brief the house why so far their audit had not been done.

He said the entire province had been echoed with the demands of CM and Law Minister Rana Sanaullah’s resignation, but the government was delaying the PA session on purpose. Mian Mehmoodul Rasheed alleged that under the CM, the province had turned into a hub of problems and everyone including doctors, nurses, teachers and blind persons were on streets for the fulfillment of their demands.
