Medical college orientation event
LAHORE: The orientation ceremony of the students of the sixth medical session of Ameer Uddin Medical College was held at the college.
According to a press release issued here on Friday, Post Graduate Medical Institute former Principal Prof Dr Tariq Salah Uddin was the chief guest of the ceremony. PGMI Principal Prof Ghias un Nabi Tayyab presided over the event. Prof Tariq Salah Uddin said that in a short time, Ameer Uddin Medical College had secured a remarkable position.
Prof Ghias un Nabi Tayyab said, besides from Pakistan, the students from other countries also took part in studies at the college and they played the role of ambassador of the institute. The students of the sixth MBBS session took their professional study oath. Their parents were also present. Talking to the media, Prof Dr Tariq Salah Uddin said the Punjab chief minister had taken a historic initiative by starting Ameer Uddin Medical College in 2012.
