LAHORE: Cricket activities will continue both in Faisalabad district and region in order to promote the game there. This was stated by former secretary Faisalabad District Cricket Association (FDCA) Mian Ijaz Farooq here on Wednesday. He vowed to continue his efforts for the development of cricket in the region. He said in this regard first Ijaz Farooq T20 Tournament is being held in Faisalabad shortly. He further said that there was no dearth of talent in Faisalabad and all needed is proper nurturing. Farooq further stated that this tournament is being organised to provide proper chance to talented cricketers of the area. He also informed that around 200 clubs will be taking part in the event and the best performers will be given lucrative prizes.
