KARACHI: The 7th Pakistan Energy Forum 2015 concluded in Islamabad on Thursday with speakers providing insight on all critical issues and opportunities in the sectors of oil, gas, power and alternatives industry in Pakistan.
The theme of the event was “Streamlining Energy Priorities for Developmental and Economic Growth.”
Speakers at the event stressed the need to stabilise prices and foster investments, while ensuring optimum supply of fossil fuels and other energy resources in the country.
In his concluding remarks of the final session the Country Director of the Asian Development Bank, Werner Liepach, said Pakistan has great potential for indigenous resources, and the key challenge to unlocking it is suitable policies and incentive structures to attract required capital.
