Two killed in Swat violence

MINGORA: Two persons were killed in separate incidents in the district on Friday, official sources said.
Lal Mir was present in Bahrain bazaar when an accused identified as Arifullah, resident of Hangu, allegedly fired at him, leaving him head.
The locals handed over the accused to the police. The motive behind the incident couldn’t be ascertained.
Meanwhile, two groups led by Fazal Wahab and Haider Ali, after exchanging harsh words, started beating each other in Matta area. As a result, Haider Ali was beaten to death on the spot.
The police registered cases and started investigation.
Festive firing victim dies in Nowshera: A student, injured in festive firing at a marriage ceremony in Khairabad area a few days ago, died on Friday.
Local sources said that Anas, 14, was injured when a bullet struck him during the festive firing. He had been in the hospital for last several days and succumbed to his injuries on Friday.
