THE Launching ceremony of a book by Rabia Hassan titled “Ethics of Killing” was held at the Lahore Press Club on Wednesday. I.A Rehman, Hussain Naqi, Pervaiz Hassan, Mak Lodhi and Rabia Hassan addressed the function.
Speakers said that terrorism and extremism had caused serious loss to the country. More than 50,000 people have lost their lives but terrorists cannot demoralise Pakistani nation. They said the entire nation was united against terrorism and we would eliminate terrorism through unity. They said that a number of precious human lives had been lost in a terrorist attack a few hours ago but the presence of the people in the launching ceremony of the book written against terrorism was a proof of this fact that we would never be defeated by terrorists. Speakers said that despite the loss of thousands of precious human lives, Pakistani nation was more enthusiastic and determined to fight terrorism. Speakers were of the view that it was encouraging to write on the topic of terrorism. They said that Rabia Hassan set an example by writing on this topic and her effort was commendable. They said all the religions of the world gave a lesson of love to humanity.
They said Islam had stressed a good behaviour with all the human beings whereas Allah Almighty in His last Holy Book has termed the murder of an innocent person as a murder of the entire humanity.
