Traffic plan for motorists during ‘sit-in’ days issued

Islamabad: Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) and Rawalpindi Traffic Police (RTP) on Friday have issued a new traffic plan for local and long route motorists and public to easily reach in different areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi during the ‘sit-in’ days.
According to official spokesmen of Rawalpindi and Islamabad traffic police, the traffic will remain close all around at Faizabad Interchange. The long-route traffic coming from Peshawar will come on Chungi no. 26 to come on motorway while traffic coming from Lahore through GT Road will cross Rawat and T-Chowk to reach Rawalpindi.
The motorists will come on Murree Road through Sohan Road and Orchard Road, while those wanted to go Expressway Road will go through Rawal Chowk and Tramari Chowk. In the light of present situation, traffic operations from Rawal Dam Chowk to Faizabad will remain suspend on both sides till further orders. Motorists will use Rawal Dam Chowk, Park Road, Taramari Chowk, Lehtrar Road, Khanna Bridge and Expressway.
Road are ceased from Zero Point to Faizabad so motorists will use Kashmir Highway, 9th Avenue and IJP Road. Those coming from Koral cannot use Islamabad Highway towards Faizabad. So, motorists should use Khanna Bridge, Lehtrar Road, Taramari Chowk, Park Road and Rawal Dam Chowk Road.
All ways are blocked from 9th Avenue and IJP Road towards Faizabad from both sides. So, motorists should use IJP Road, Gohar Shaheed Chowk, Faqeer Aipee Road and Kashmir Highway. All kind of traffic from Kulsoom Hospital, Jinnah Avenue towards Express Chowk will remain suspend so motorists will use Nazim-ud-Din Road and Margalla Road.
Motorists should use Stadium Road to go to 9th Avenue or Khanna Road, Lehtrar Road, Taramari Chowk, Park Road and Rawal Dam Chowk, if anyone is coming from Rawalpindi through Murree Road.
