One of us

People who are transgender are a big part of our society. However these people are being constantly neglected and ignored by our society. One of the reasons for this insensitive treatment towards these people is ignorance of people. Many people don’t show any respect towards the transgender community. It is unfortunate that even educated people make fun of people who are transgender.
These unfortunate people do not have enough job opportunities. They are deprived of their basic rights and necessities. They are left to do menial jobs like dancing at weddings or on the occasion of a child’s birth. They also beg for money on streets. If society will not offer them jobs, what else will they do to earn? Our government must ensure that these people are enjoying equal rights. They need to be respected and to be loved.
