Nauman annexes ITF Seniors Ranking title

LAHORE: Nauman Aleem Durrani, from Islamabad annexed the men’s singles title of 55 category of 32 Maple Leaf Cement of 32 ITF Seniors World Ranking Tennis Championship Grade -4 at Bigh-e-Jinnah court.
Waqar Nisar won the men’s single title of 60 events by beating Gul Hamid in straight set in the final.
Waqar Nisar who was former NCCA (USA) player was in fine touch and won the final without any resistance at a score of 6-3, 6-3.
Results: Men’s Singles Final (55): Nauman Aleem Durrani beat Malak Inamullah Khan 6-2, 6-4.
Men’s singles final (60): Waqar Nisar beat Gul Hamid 6-3, 6-3
Men’s Doubles Final (40): Talha Waheed/Muhammad Shakeel beat Muhammad Arif/Jehanzeb Khan 3-6, 6-3, 10-1
Men’s Doubles (45) (Round Robin match): Rashid Malik/Fayyaz Khan beat Malak Inamullah Khan/Irfanullah Khan 6-1, 6-1. Men’s Doubles 50l (Round Robin match): Rashid Malik/Muhammad Arif beat Ijaz Chaudhary and Naresh Khatri 6-1, 6-1.
