Cold spell to continue

LAHORE: Dry and cold weather was observed in the city on Monday while the Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said continental air is prevailing and mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Foggy conditions are likely to prevail in the few plain areas of Punjab during the morning hours, officials said.
No rainfall was recorded whereas Monday’s lowest temperature was recorded at Kalat at -07°C while in Lahore the maximum temperature was 23°C, minimum was 8.5°C and humidity level was 41 per cent.
