Mian Iftikhar terms Imran’s corruption mantra a joke

NOWSHERA: Awami National Party (ANP) secretary general Mian Iftikhar Hussain on Sunday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s father was among the 313 corrupt bureaucrats during Zulfikar Ali Bhutto era.
Speaking at a public meeting in Ziarat Kaka Shahib here, he said that Ikramullah Niazi was among the top corrupt bureaucrats in Pakistan.
“Iman Khan has declared the entire political leadership of Pakistan as corrupt, but he is not uttering a single word about his father’s corruption,” the ANP leader said. He said that declaring others as corrupt could not hide Imran Khan’s family’s corruption.Mian Iftikhar said that Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has changed several political parties, adding that nobody could guess as to which party he would join in future.
He said that Pervez Khattak should not call the previous government corrupt as he was part of the previous government. “When he called past governments the most corrupt, he actually testifies that he was the most corrupt,” Mian Iftikhar added.
The ANP leader said that Nawaz Sharif had ignored Khyber Pakhunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor projects. He added that Nawaz Sharif also failed to mainstream Fata and address the problems of tribespeople.
