Three envoys call on governor

LAHORE :Ambassadors of Saudia Arabia, Turkey and Tajkistan to Pakistan called on Punjab Governor Rafique Rajwana at Governor's House on Sunday.
According to a handout, during their meeting, they discussed the issues of mutual interest and global situation. The Punjab governor said that Pakistan’s role and sacrifices for the peace in the country were being acknowledged globally.
He said that Pakistan’s relationship with nations like Saudia Arabia, Turkey and Tajkistan were strengthening with the passage of time. There is a need to enhance cooperation in different fields, he added.
PU convocation today: Punjab University’s 126th convocation will be held on Monday (today) at Faisal Auditorium at 10am. According to a press release issued here Sunday, Punjab Governor Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana will be the chief guest on the occasion.
