Rash driving claimed yet another life in the city on Thursday as a middle-aged man was run over by a speeding vehicle in Qasba Colony. Rescue officials identified the victim as 45-year-old Khatha Khan and said he suffered extensive injuries when he was hit by a speeding car near Shehzad Cinema. It was said that Khan’s wounds proved too severe and he passed away on the spot before medical help could arrive. His body was later shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
