KARACHI: National Under-14 Football championship will kick-off on February 18 at Shabbir Stadium, Khanewal.
As many as 13 outfits will be taking part in the competitions: four provincial teams, Islamabad, FATA, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit- Baltistan, hosts Khanewal and zonal teams of Karachi, Quetta, Sahiwal-Faislabad zones and Dir-Bannu zone.
The final will be held on February 26. Each team will comprise 18 players and have three officials, including a qualified coach.
Talented players in the championship will be marked by the Technical Study Group. A camp of these scouted players will then be held through which a national team will be formed for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-14 championship, which will be held in April in Turkmenistan.
