NAYPYIDAW: Myanmar has summoned the Pakistani ambassador for rising voice against violence being meted out to Rohngiya Muslims. Sources told Geo News that Myanmar expressed reservations to Pakistani Ambassador Dr Khalid Memon about raising voice for Rohingya Muslims.
Pakistan had called Myanmar ambassador at the start of this year to record protest on the violence being meted out to Rohingya Muslims, whose ethnic cleansing is going on in Myanmar. Hundreds of them have been killed in a few months and thousands are forced to flee Bangladesh. Fury on this ethnic cleansing is rising the world over and the UN general secretary has warned that if it continues, the region will be hit by instability.
