MANSEHRA: A spokesman for the Hazara University on Tuesday refuted the allegations levelled by Hazara University Academic Staff Association against administration, saying the university was functioning under the KP Universities Act and Statutes 2016 strictly and nothing irregular was taking place.
He said members of the society, parents and students are appreciating the efforts taken by the management for strengthening and enhancing the quality education and research in the university.
“Some faculty members under the umbrella of association are busy to disturb the peaceful and academic atmosphere of the University their personal nefarious designs and approaching the irrelevant forums for protecting their agenda which is harmful for the institution as well as students,” said a press release issued by spokesman on Tuesday.
The spokesman said the university management would never compromise and allow anyone to disturb the peaceful and academic atmosphere of the university.
The communication said university authorities called explanation and comments from the deans about unhealthy activities of some faculty members which did fall in the category of “inquiry”.
“An assistant professor, got irregular admission in PhD programme twice which is against the rules and regulations and the management has the authority to persuade such irregularities at any stage and by anyone,” he said.
