PPP finalises arrangements for Bilawal’s visit

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter, Tuesday finalised arrangements for the visit of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari scheduled for August 19.

The arrangements were finalised at a meeting with provincial president Humayun Khan in the chair.

The meeting also decided to issue show-cause notices to the workers for violating party discipline.

Provincial vice-president Syed Ayub Shah, former provincial presidents, Khanzada Khan, Sardar Ali Khan, Barrister Masood Kausar, provincial deputy general secretary Behramand Tangi, Coordinator secretary Sartaj Khan Doranpur, deputy secretary information Gohar Inqilabi, secretary record Shah Qarnain, president Bannu division Sher Azam Khan Wazir, president, Kohat, Nadir Khan Khattak, president, Malakand, Dr Afsarul Mulk, and secretary office Tila Mohammad attended the meeting.

The meeting appointed Behramand Tangi as security and administration coordinator, Gohar Inqilabi as media coordinator while Shah Qarnain as stage secretary.

The meeting also directed all the divisional and district presidents to complete party’s organisations in their respective areas by August 26 and send report to the provincial president.

The meeting directed divisional and district presidents in Hazara division to make complete preparations for the success of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reception and meeting at Mansehara on August 19.

The meeting also announced names for the provincial council and provincial executive bodies.

Speaking on the occasion, Humayun Khan said that the PPP had never compromised on principles and rights of the people.
