Pak image improved after SC verdict: Pervaiz
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q senior central leader and former deputy prime minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi claimed on Saturday that due to the verdict of the Supreme Court, Nawaz Sharif earned bad name but the image of Pakistan improved internationally.
Nawaz Sharif has been crushing the poor even in his car rally, Pervaiz Elahi said, adding that Nawaz Sharif wanted people to come out against the Supreme Court and the Army but the people would not come out on the call of a disqualified prime minister.
According to a press release, the former Punjab chief minister said two people, including an innocent boy, were crushed on Friday and one person was crushed and rendered crippled in Gujranwala on Saturday.
He said Nawaz Sharif was repeatedly saying that he had not been allowed to complete his tenure, whereas, this is third assembly which was going to complete its tenure as given in the constitution and even after his disqualification his party was in the government.
“Nawaz is misstating regarding Supreme Court as well, two learned judges had said he is not Sadiq and Ameen and three judges along with earlier two judges gave a unanimous verdict of his disqualification”, he said.
