A child was killed and three others injured in a brawl between family members in the city’s Landhi area on Wednesday. Officials said Zarat Gul opened fire on his family members over a domestic dispute in a house situated in Bakhtawar Goth.
As a result, three-year-old Mustafa was killed on the spot while Gul’s son, 29-year-old Nasir, his daughter-in-law, 22-year-old Rubina, and his granddaughter, Madiha, sustained bullet injuries. The body and injured were rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.
Man dies in road crash
A man perished in a road crash in the city’s Port Qasim area during the wee hours of Wednesday. According to rescue sources, 45-year-old Zahid Khan was hit by a speeding car while he was crossing a road. The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy.

The decomposing body of a man was found in the sea along the city’s Ibrahim Hyderi area on Wednesday.
According to rescue sources, the body of an unknown man, who appeared to be in his 40s, was found floating in the sea near Rehri Goth. The body was shifted to a Chhipa morgue for want of identification.
