QAU professor’s house robbed

ISLAMABAD: A mega robbery has been reported in Sector I-14/3 in front of Riphah University main gate at the house of Prof Sajid Awan, of Quaid-i-Azam University.
According to police report, Prof Awan’s family was away from the house for a couple of hours when the robbers broke in.
They tore through locked rooms and storage spaces of the house to collect Rs1.5 million in hard cash and 22 tola gold worth Rs 4.9 million. They successfully took off with the valuables before the family returned home.
