PMDC announces NEB results

LAHORE: Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced National Examination Board (NEB) Step III Examination results for foreign gradates.

According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, the Step III examination was held in four four parts on July 15, July 16, July 22 and July 23, 2017. The overall pass percentage is estimated to be 96 with 786 candidates appearing in the four parts of the exams and passing 756 out of them.

In the first part, out of 200 candidates, 188 passed, with pass percentage of 94. In the part two, out of 200 candidates, 192 passed, with pass percentage of 96. In the part three, out of 200 candidates, 196 passed, with pass percentage of 98. In the part four, out of 186 candidates, 180 passed, with with pass percentage of 96. The results are available on the PMDC website.

PMDC President Prof Dr Shabir Lehri praised the management of NUMS , NEB Committee and staff of the  PMDC for conducting the  examination in a successful manner, adding that the addition of foreign qualified medical graduates would add to the betterment of medical sector in Pakistan.

greets: Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minorities' Affairs Khalil Tahir Sandhu has congratulated the students securing top positions in matriculation examinations across the province.

He has said that the students made their parents and teachers feel proud by getting positions with their hard work. He said it was commendable that some of the students got positions with their commitment and hard work despite lack of resources.

He stressed on the youths to perform their proactive role in the development of Pakistan. He said that intelligent and bright students were a precious asset and the future of Pakistan was linked with the students. The Punjab government will continue to provide necessary resources to the students who had ability to change the course of history.
