People robbed of cash, valuables

GUJRANWALA: Citizens were deprived of cash, gold ornaments, vehicles and other valuables in several strikes here on Tuesday.

In Alipur Chattha bandits snatched Rs 50,000 and a cellphone from a citizen. Rashid in Ahmadnagar was robbed of Rs 72,000, gold ornaments and cellphones. In Wahdat Colony gunmen took away Rs 25,000, gold ornaments and a cellphone from Rafiq. Kashif was deprived of Rs 40,000, a gold chain and a cellphone. In Khiali robbers snatched Rs 37,000 and two cellphones from Moeez. Aslam was robbed of Rs 67,000, two cellphones and gold ornaments in Sadr Kamoke area.

In Baghbanpura bandits took away Rs 20,000, two cellphones and gold ornaments from Amir. Ansar in city Wazirabad was deprived of Rs 50,000 and gold ornaments.

In Aroop police limits three gunmen snatched Rs 16,000 and two cellphones from Siddique.

At Ferozewala bandits took away Rs 23,000, two gold chains and a cellphone from Majid.

In Gakhar Mandi bandits barged in the house of Husnain and took away Rs 22,000, Saudi currency, laptops and five cellphones.

Talha in Sadr Gujranwala area was deprived of Rs 22,000 and a cellphone. Robbers in Sadr Kamoke area took away Rs 35,000, a cell phone and a motorcycle from Mudassar.

In Gakhar area Moeen was robbed of Rs 60,000, three cell phones and gold ornaments. M Ali at Wahndo was deprived of Rs 100,000, two cellphones and gold ornaments.

Thieves took away valuables from the houses and shops of Farooq, Bilal, Umer, Rashid and Mushtaq. Motorcycles of Waleed and Anwar were stolen from different places. Police have registered cases.
