PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Pharmacist Association has supported the government’s amendments to drug rules and called for their implementation.
Speaking at a news conference at the Peshawar Press Club on Monday, the Association’s general secretary Ihsanullah, press secretary Saeed Anwar and others said that the basic purpose of the amendments to Drug Rules was to provide standard medicines through qualified doctors to general people and regulate sale and purchase of medicines.
He said before bringing amendments, all the stakeholders were taken into confidence but a few people were trying to politicise the issue and foil the government’s move.
