AIOU enrolment increases
Islamabad: The number of people coming into educational net gets increased in the recent years and there has been upward trend in the annual enrolment of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) both at secondary and higher education level.
This was stated by AIOU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui while addressing regional directors (RDs) meeting held here on Monday through video conferencing link. He said all the 44 regional offices throughout the country have been activated with enhanced facilities and up-gradation of Learning Managing System (LMS). These measures, he said have brought very positive results both in term of enrolment and quality.
“We hope that the ratio of enrolment will be still better in the new academic year (Admission autumn 2017), that starts from First of August, he added.
