PPP rally demands PM’s resignation
TOBA TEK SINGH: The PPP activists on Sunday took out a rally and demanded resignation from PM Nawaz Sharif.The rally started from Gojra Road and after passing through Jhang Road culminated outside the press club. The PPP workers carrying banners and placards chanted ‘Go Nawaz Go’ slogans. Speaking on the occasion, PPP leaders, including Zulfiqar Ali, Rana Khalid Mahmood and Mazhar Iqbal, said that PM Nawaz Sharif had no moral ground to remain as the PM after the JIT report.
GUJRANWALA: A 13-year-old girl received burns in a cylinder blast at Alipur Chattha on Sunday. Maria was standing in the kitchen of her house when a gas cylinder suddenly exploded. As a result, Maria received serious burns. She was shifted to the DHQ Hospital from where the doctors referred her to a Lahore hospital due to critical condition.
