Rupee appreciates

The rupee showed moderate gains against the dollar on Wednesday on dollar selling by some banks and exporters, currency dealers said.

The rupee appreciated 14 paisas to 105.25/dollar from 105.39 in the previous trade in the interbank market. The domestic currency gained some strength, as banks sold the US currency in the market.
