The National Testing Service (NTS) test for selection of 300 interns, under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL), is likely to be held in first week of August.
"NTS test for internship (2017-18) is expected to be held in the first week of August and joining of the selected interns will be effective from September," official sources in the company told APP.
They said the internship programme was aimed at imparting practical training to the educated youth for enhancing their skills, making them useful professionals in their respective fields.
The OGDCL, they said, has increased the number of internship from 250 to 300 annually in different disciplines under the CSR activities, out of which 50 percent unemployed youth was engaged from the oil and gas producing districts.
