This refers to the news story, ‘Revisiting the past glory of PIA’ (January 26). PIA is a sad and tragic story. Every government – civilian or military – shares equal blame for the unchecked decline of the airline.
The rulers would never induct the same ‘dead wood’ in their private businesses by which they stuffed PIA. One can only say that PIA is a classic example of deliberate mismanagement perpetrated by selfish, corrupt and incompetent governments.
