Another fuel tanker overturns

BAHAWALPUR: Another fuel tanker carrying some 40,000 litres of furnace oil overturned near Kot Khalefa, about 90 kms from Bahawalpur, when it collided with a car on Monday.

Reportedly, the tanker was being driven to Muzaffargarh from Karachi and near Kot Khalefa it hit a car and overturned. As a result, the car occupants, two women and a man, suffered injuries.

DSP Ahmad Pur East circle Dastgir Khan reached the spot immediately with PS Channi Goth police team. The police cordoned off the spot and halted the traffic on Tranda Pannah-Uch Sharif Road. The Rescue-1122 rescuers controlled the leakage of the oil.
