Six hurt in mishap at amusement park

Six people suffered injuries at an amusement park in the city’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area after one of the rides malfunctioned, rescue sources reported on Sunday.
Those wounded in the accident at Aladdin Park were shifted to the Jinnah hospital for immediate medical treatment. Taking immediate notice of the accident, Sindh Interior Minister Suhail Anwar Khan Siyal ordered the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP)-East to submit a report in this regard.
According to Gulshan SP Ghulam Murtaza Bhutto a problem in the ride’s machinery caused for the ride to halt abruptly.“Due to the sudden stop, people aboard the ride’s individual cabins were thrown off balance and suffered minor injuries,” he said.
