TOBA TEK SINGH: On the order of the DCO, four religious leaders were arrested and sent to the District Jail for one month on Friday.
They are Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat Kamalia activists Rai Najeebullah Khan and Qari Muhammad Iqbal and Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen activists Rizwan Haider and Asad Ali.
15,417 candidates apply for 950 educators’

TOBA TEK SINGH: As many as 15,417 candidates have applied for 950 posts of educators to be appointed at government schools in the district.
DO (Elementary) Education Malik Altaf Saqib told on Friday that 12,865 females and 2,552 males applied for the posts. He said that all the applicants had already passed NTS exam before applying for the jobs.
SARWAR SERVICES LAUDED: A Pirmahal Bar Association general body meeting on Friday lauded the services of former Punjab governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar for Pirmahal tehsil.
The meeting chaired by Rana Imran Hafeez passed a resolution in which it said that establishment of the Tehsil Courts and giving tehsil status to Pirmahal were great achievements of Ch Sarwar for his hometown.
