PML-N councillors form bloc against Khwazakhela Nazim
MINGORA: Five councillors of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Khwazakhela tehsil council have formed a forward bloc against their party’s nazim.
Local sources said that naib naizm Sher Asghar, Liaqat Ali, Samiullah, Afzal Sher and Hamidullah have formed the forward bloc, which is also being supported by two women councillors and a minority councillor. The 13-member council has eight PML-N members, out of which five have revolted against their party’s nazim Usman Ali Khan.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl councillors also attended a meeting of the disgruntled PML-N councillors.The annoyed councillors have planned to launch a movement after Eid. The sources said that the rifts developed over the distribution of funds.
