LAHORE
The weather in the provincial metropolis on Eid Day (today) is most likely going to be hot, mostly sunny and rather humid.
Temperature would hover around the 40 degree Celsius but the ‘Real Feel’ would be like 48 degrees. Gusty winds towards the end of the day could provide slight respite. The weather on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr 2017, however, will be slightly better than that on day one. Partly cloudy weather with chances of thunder and scattered showers is expected on 2nd day of Eid, Tuesday.
The maximum temperature in the city on Sunday was 41 degrees Celsius while that in the country was 47 at Sibbi. Seasonal low lay over north Balochistan and its adjoining areas.
A westerly wave is likely to approach upper parts of the county on Sunday evening. Monsoon currents will start to penetrate in Pakistan on Monday.
