LAHORE: Former interior minister Rehman Malik said he had told the JIT investigating the Sharif family’s financial affairs that their entire process might be challenged.
Malik said he could not explain his point further as the JIT had asked to keep the discussion secret till it was made public.
In a TV interview on Saturday, he said his reports prepared 1993 onward were made part of the Panama Papers case by the Supreme Court. He appeared before the JIT because of being summoned, Malik said, adding that he did not want to rake up old wounds.
He said Imran Khan had been making tall claims but it was he (Malik) who provided the pitch on which he (Imran) was playing.
