Muslim integrity urged
LAHORE Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) Qasmi group observed Harmain Sharifain Protection Day on Friday to highlight the conspiracies being hatched by the enemies of Islam against the Muslim Holy places in Makkah and Madina.
Hundreds of slogan chanting and banners waving protesters took out rallies in different cities after Friday prayers and demanded greater Muslim unity to protect the heart of the Muslim world.
In Lahore, PUC-Qasmi Punjab president Maulana Hafiz Muhammad Amjad and secretary Mushtaq Lahori led the rally from Jallo Morr to Dharampura underpass, which was participated by large number of people from all walks of life. Addressing the participants, the leaders warned that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia had been the prime targets of enemies of Islam because they represented the spiritual and military leadership of the Muslim world. They said the same forces which had been bombing Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Afghanistan, were now tightening their grip on Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
