The shortage of trees in Karachi has become a serious matter. Can humans imagine a life without trees? The answer is a definite no. Trees are important for the existence of human beings. Trees purify the atmosphere and provide oxygen to living beings. The city is already witnessing the effects of the shortage of trees. The extreme hot weather in the city is because of the lack of trees.

Trees also play a major role in maintaining a city’s beauty. Without trees, a place looks unattractive. The concerned authorities must pay attention to this important issue. A campaign should be initiated to plant more trees to keep the environment clean and pure.
