Islamabad: This Eid, the government employees will enjoy a long break from work due to the extended holidays.
With the Eidul Fitr likely to fall on June 26 (Monday), the government has announced holidays for its employees on Monday (June 26), Tuesday (June 27) and Wednesday (June 28).
Now, many government servants have planned to take holidays for Thursday and Friday to stay away from duty from more than a week.
Most of them intend to go to hometowns to spend time with families. The rest will go on excursion trips to Murree, Abbottabad, Swat and other hill stations. Excursionists have already booked rooms in hotels and guest houses in advance to avoid the last-minute botheration.
