LAHORE: The Old Anarkali police registered a case against five persons who had kidnapped a woman and removed her kidney two months ago here in the provincial metropolis. The unidentified kidnappers dropped the victim off in an unconscious condition at Thokar Niaz Baig.
The victim, identified as Balqees Bibi, hailed from Pakpattan and came to Lahore to see her daughter two months ago. According to the victim, she was on her way to Lahore by bus when a passenger Siddique offered a job to her. The woman reached the fixed place at the Food Street, Anarkali, the next day where Siddique was already present. Meanwhile, two persons came there in a car and as Balqees and Siddique stepped into the vehicle, the three rendered her unconscious. When she woke up, she found fresh stitches on the right side of her abdomen. They detained the woman for two days and dropped her off at Thokar Niaz Baig the very next day.
The victim Balqees filed an application against the culprits involved in stealing her kidney after two months as she was under treatment. The Old Anarkali police have registered a case against Siddique, Mohammad Hussain, Rashid Hussain, Shaukat Hussain and Sharif.
