Five booked for removing woman’s kidney

June 21, 2017

Old Anarkali police registered a case against five persons who had kidnapped a woman and removed her kidney two months back here in the provincial metropolis.

The unidentified kidnappers dropped the victim off in an unconscious condition at Thokar Niaz Baig.

The victim identified as Balqees Bibi hailed from Pakpattan and came to Lahore to see her daughter two months back.

According to the victim, she was on her way to Lahore by bus when a passenger Siddique offered a job to her. The woman reached the fixed place at Food Street Anarkali next day where Siddique was already present.

Meanwhile, two persons came there in a car and as Balqees and Siddique stepped into the vehicle, the three rendered her unconscious. When she woke up, she found fresh stitches on the right side of her abdomen.

They detained the woman for two days and dropped her off at Thokar Niaz Baig the very next day.

The victim Balqees filed an application against the culprits involved in stealing her kidney after two months as she was under treatment. Upon which Old Anarkali police have registered a case against Siddique, Mohammad Hussain, Rashid Hussain, Shaukat Hussain and Sharif.

Our correspondent adds: An additional district and sessions court on Tuesday handed over two children to their mother after getting them recovered from the illegal custody of father.Asia Shahzad, a resident of Muslim Town, had filed a habeas corpus petition before the court contending that her husband Shahzad had detained her two sons. She said that she had a bitter wedlock due to which scuffle on domestic matters was a routine issue. She said that on June 18, her husband kicked her out from his house and didn’t allow her to bring her sons Ali and Husnain. She implored the court for the recovery of her children. On her plea, the court appointed a bailiff who recovered children from the house of Shahzad and produced them before the court. The court handed over children to their mother.
